The spacious apartments offer a view of the lake and mountains, making the stay truly picturesque. The historic building, dating back to 1590, adds a unique charm to the overall experience. The hotel's emphasis on using natural and high-quality materials creates a serene and eco-friendly atmosphere. The lake garden with its beautiful views of Lake Constance and the nearby mountains provides an idyllic setting for relaxation and activities. The opportunity to book the entire castle with its double rooms and exclusive suites allows for a truly luxurious and memorable stay.
Mosquitoes in the room.

The room was clean and functional, and we loved the view of the lake from the garden area. the staff went above and beyond, providing a warm welcome note and even chocolates. the breakfast buffet in the old barn was a highlight with its fresh regional products. We also appreciated the availability of Stande Up Paddles for free. the staff's passion and attention to detail made our stay memorable. Keep up the good work!
Nothing bad to say 😊.

With breathtaking views of the Alps, my stay at this historic building was like stepping into a fairytale. The spacious apartment, featuring a wooden spa bath, made me feel like royalty. The combination of modernity and history in the harmonious cross-over architecture was truly a work of art.
Limited availability of reception.

Had a great Xmas stay at a lakeside hotel. the location was perfect, just across from the lake and a short walk to the town and restaurants. the room was spacious and had a fancy bathroom, Nespresso machine, and complimentary wine and beer upon arrival. the breakfast selection was fantastic, with a lovely outdoor seating area and a view of the lake. the atmosphere was cozy and the owners actively managed the hotel, creating a homely feel. the service was excellent, with helpful staff and one of the best breakfasts we've had in a hotel. the cleanliness was also top-notch.
Although the room had a kitchenette, there were no pots and pans provided. the price point was on the higher end for what was offered.

The rooms in Seehotel Amtshof are absolutely stunning! The historic building gives them a unique charm that is hard to find elsewhere. Plus, the view of the lake and mountains from the suite is simply breathtaking. As a nature lover, I felt like I was in paradise.
Personally, I found the wooden spa bath in the private bathroom a bit uncomfortable. But hey, that's just my opinion.
